It’s been a long time since I experimented with metal and corrosion on textile. By coincidence and with a little help from textile literature I recently found a new way of steering corrosive prints on textile. So far it is a means to create beautiful print designs, and not a technique suited for industrial production. But who knows what the future will bring…

Getting metals to corrode is not a big problem. The challenge is to steer the process and make it stop at the right point. The beauty of the technique for me lies in the fact that the same images can never be reproduced twice.
